What is the secret of rejoicing in Christ?
What does one have to do to possess it?
It begins with His Spirit that dwells deep inside
That produces a life that is blessed

It remains in our soul as we walk in the light
And our spirit attends to His calling
It is there where our hearts are not burdened with strife
Where our God always keeps us from falling

If we love Him today and desire His will
And we pray to be found in the center
We just need to get started and serve Him until
We can well overcome our tormentor

To be given a title or to come in first place
Can be great and afford recognition
But to touch lives for Christ as we stay in our race
In this life is the greatest position

So whatever we do as we serve Him today
Though we teach or we preach, or we visit
Let's reach out to the ones that we meet in our way
If we seek something else, we may miss it
