When You're Far From God

When you're far from God,

You're not living the best way

Every trial makes your soul stray

You forget that you can pray,

When you're far from God

When you're far from God,

You feel empty, forsaken, and lonely

You're defeated and live with the lowly

You just think of yourself and you only,

When you're far from God

When you're far from God,

You'll be battered by every temptation

You'll be plagued by your own condemnation

You'll be trapped in a sad situation,

When you're far from God

Can't you see that your Savior is calling?

Who but He can protect you from falling?

Jesus calls, will you please stop your stalling?

Don't be far from God!
