Around two thousand years ago, a little boy left home one day to go hear a great prophet who would be preaching on a Judean mountainside. His mother fixed him a lunch consisting of five barley loaves and two small fishes. How could he have suspected that this great Teacher would be using his lunch that day to somehow feed a multitude? In fact, who would have believed that something so little could do so much? Because the One who did this miracle lives forever, wondrous things such as these are still done today on a daily basis. Jesus continues to take the little we can offer to accomplish great things. Dear reader, you have much more than five loaves and two fishes to offer. But even if all you give today is a smile, a hug, or a friendly handshake, if it's done for the love of Christ, it can do wonders. Like the lad in the Sixth Chapter of John, are you willing to share what you have with others? Then, tell them about Jesus.
