Big Boys Don't Cry
Our culture did us a great disservice when it instilled in us the idea that "big boys don't cry." Even today, those who have the ability to cry are perceived by many as being weak or overly emotional. That's a fallacy because even Jesus wept. Was he weak? Psalms 126:5 tells us: they that sow in tears shall reap in joy, implying that weeping is just as much a part of life as working. In fact, to forcibly hold back tears is like keeping the pressure cooker valve closed. Sooner or later it will explode. Let's learn from God and not from our culture.
