Truly God is good to us
The Bible makes this clear
He will help us if we call Him
Every day of every year

He was good enough to send His Son
To save us from our sins
Goodness only comes from God
This is where it all begins

He was good enough to free us
From the foe who had us bound
We were rescued long before
They could plant us in the ground

So that God is good is certain
Of that truth there is no doubt
But is that good enough to suit you?
Is that worthy of a shout?
