Losing Jesus
In the 2nd Chapter of Luke we find the seldom-mentioned story of Joseph and Mary carelessly leaving Jesus behind in the temple at Jerusalem. They came back looking for him and found him on the third day, right where they had last seen him. That reminds me of this corny joke: Question: Where can you find a dog that has no legs? Answer: Right where you left it. Some find it hard to believe that good people like Joseph and Mary could lose Jesus, but they did. Another hard thing to understand is why it took them three days to figure out where he was. Actually, this keeps happening to many folks today. They come to a point where they sense  Jesus is no longer with them and don't know where to look. They need to remember where they felt Him last. It is very likely that place was church, and more likely still that He will be there when they come back.
