I cannot walk on water
I cannot calm a storm
In my own strength I cannot stand
But I'm kept in mighty arms

If I'm alone, I'll falter
In doubt, I'll shake with fear
Without God's help, I dare not move
Yet I know my Lord is near

I know He keeps each promise
Alone, I'll never be
If there's a task I need to do
His strength will go with me

So fear will not consume me
I'll never say "I can't"
I'll close my ears to words of doubt
"God reigns" will be my chant

So move on Christian brother
God's Word is ever true
If you're in Christ you'll say like Paul
"There's nothing I can't do"
